Your Role and Responsibilities
Front end/UI developer role – responsibilities:
  • As a part of agile development team, you will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to the complete software development cycle for a frontend microservice and operator
  • You will be responsible for delivering product code to support new feature development, as well as troubleshoot and solve product bugs
  • You will contribute to the test framework for your microservice, as well as work with a QA/test team to enhance
  • You will be contributing to product documentation working with an information development team
  • You will participate and contribute to microservice architecture and new features design as part of agile grooming and planning sessions
  • You will have an opportunity to engage with support team and troubleshoot/advise on customer issues
  • You will be able to share your progress and expertise through code reviews, demos and showcases to the product team and stakeholders


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • A keen interest in Software Development.
  • Self-starter who learns new technologies quickly, can multi-task, and has strong problem-solving skills.
  • Programming skills (JavaScript, NodeJs, React, or similar)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)
  • Understanding for design, development, and testing with respect to Software Development.
  • Experience in the use of APIs desirable.
  • Works well in a team environment but is also able to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Students in their penultimate year of study looking for a 6 months industry placement.
